Code of Conduct

Taking part responsibly

treat others with respect

1. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated. Any participant asked to stop any harassing behaviour must do so immediately or be banned from all events and programmes created by The Collective Foundation.*

2. This event aims to tackle issues that are highly sensitive. Participants must agree to be respectful and understanding of those who may express ideas and opinions that are different than their own.

3. We now live in a rapidly changing world. Amongst the noise of daily updates and information on the news and online, we run the risk of missing critical information. We will not tolerate the conscious spread of false information or promotion of conspiracy theories. Doing so may result in being banned from the event. All participants must agree to only share information from reliable official sources and endeavour to understand the facts surrounding the event’s challenges.

*Harassment includes; offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or political views, sexual images posted in online platforms accessed by participants, deliberate intimidation, stalking, photography or audio/video recording against reasonable consent, sustained disruption of talks or other events, and unwelcome sexual attention
